When Sue lived in Florida, her yard was too shaded
for roses. She changed that when she moved north.

Nora never wanted to cut any of her roses, but
when her mother was suffering from terminal
cancer, she took her a bouquet. When her mother
died, Nora dedicated a small garden to her.

John has been growing roses for 14 years. In
the beginning, Dianne wanted 2 pink, 2 red, and
2 yellow so they started with those and now have
over 175 plants.

The Garretts currently have about 450 roses. Here
are their main rose beds with Lake Chickanauga
in the background. In the center of the first picture
is their largest water garden with water lilies and
Koi fish.

years and exhibiting for eighteen. Since their
first blue ribbon for a Double Delight at the state
fair, they have won many prizes both
in horticulture and in arranging.

The only place the Lotts have sun is in the front
yard on both sides of their driveway. Here is where
they have 120 roses, mostly Hybrid Teas, with eight
miniatures, and six Knockouts at the
driveway entrance.
